Progress into Master’s Degree level at top international universities with credit transfers (e.g. University of South Australia award PgDMU graduates with exemptions of 13 credits towards their Master of Sonography programme.

What do I learn from the PgDMU (ASIA) programme?

Application of physical principles knowledge, instrumentation and skills in required to operate medical ultrasound equipment.

Performing ultrasound examinations effectively to yield important diagnostic information.

Assessments on whether to extend the scope of the ultrasound examination or not based on the ultrasound findings.

Recording, analyzing the data collected and reporting the ultrasound findings to the physician in an oral and written fashion for diagnosis.

Effective communications with physicians and other health care professionals for providing a good quality care to the patient.
